Rare paratrooper set model 47, typical of the silhouette of the paratroopers in combat at the very beginning of the Indochina War, not to be confused with the model 47/51 used mainly for parades. Well-worn jacket, heavily patinated, ELFI brand snaps, functional ECLAIR brand closures, the sew-on buttons have all been replaced by riveted metal buttons (like US ARMY HBT outfits), no front closure, the effect closes with the buttons. Lieutenant rank metal bars on epaulettes. Well marked and dated 1947 (first series manufactured). Beaver tail present, all snaps are functional. White spots on the lining and a few white dots on the back (see photo); 47 pants, all snaps functional, ECLAIR brand closure also, worn, elastic at the bottom of the legs. very rare set.
Measurements: shoulder width: 53cm sleeve length: 55cm, trouser size: 40, inseam: 65cm (does not go down to the ankles because they are jumping boots).
Please note: all snaps are original and functional, they are 70 years old, they are firm and must be handled with great care. No return or exchanged if the buyer damages one or more snaps or tears the fabric that holds it.
