Wonderful WWII German U-Boat War Badge : Unmarked. The distinctive eagle is identical to Variation 1. The area showing the propeller, rudder and laurel leaves at the stern is a "fingerprint" of sorts when identifying a particular U-Boat War Badge. The distinctively shaped sheet metal catch is almost exclusively associated with Steinhauer & Luck, you can find in "The Kriegsmarine Awards - Volume III" Pag. 38
