Pilot's CeBe 4000 Flying googles French Air Force WW2

Genuine and scarce pilot's flying goggles made by L.CRETIN -BILLET & Fils model CeBe 4000 WW2. Original box well marked and dated december 1937, functional clasp, with its leather carrying strap. Goggles with its two pairs of original straps, one elastic and the other in non-elastic canvas, non-cracked glass, chamois lining. The natural rubber has lost its elasticity and has become rigid and cannot therefore be curved to fit the shape of a helmet. Superb display piece on the theme of the French wings in the battle of May-June 40.
