Signal pistol SMN No. 4 MKI 1944

English Endfield No. 4 MK1 1939-1945 standard flare pistol, 40 mm caliber, was developed during the Second World War. The butt plates are molded in black bakelite. It only works in double action, with a hammer without a cocking crest. A slider, placed at the top of the barrel, allowed this fixing system to be blocked. Loading is done by means of its tilting barrel, the opening of which is controlled by a lock located in the upper part of the frame. Brass trigger guard, serial number A4738. SMN markings No. 4 MKI 1944, bakelite plates in excellent condition. Very stiff spring, very good general condition.
