Description

Nice genuine WWII US Army M1943 goggles, featuring green acetate lenses designed for protection from dust, wind and excessive light glare. Dated 1944.

These are virtually identical to the E-1 goggles with red lenses, intended for being worn by USAAF aircrews during night flights. The present type was issued to various branches of service, including Air Forces, Airborne units and Mountain troops.

Mint, unissued condition, complete with elastic band and lens covers; come in their original pouch (snap fastener is in working order).
