NURSE Dress

WW2 - US School Nurse Office dress and cap 

Very nice genuine WWII American Red Cross short-sleeved dress, of the type intended for Nurse Corps. Known as the 'Gray Ladies', the latter provided various medical services to patients in military hospitals.

Tailored in gray cotton cloth, two front pockets and one breast pocket on which has been sewn a white square featuring an embroidered red cross; the detachable shoulder tabs are made of blue cotton cloth.

'Gray Ladies' cap made with the same  gray cotton cloth as the dress, red cross sewn on the front, nice worn condition.

In very good overall worn condition, this suit retains, as the cap all its original pearly buttons.
