Exceptional US WW1 nurse canteen. The canteen is 60cm x 30cm x 20cm in size, red cross on each side, three functional clasps, interior separation. the set consists of a cap with US Army Medical Officer Army Nurse Corps/A.N.C. insignia, a headdress with red cross, two veils with red cross, a red cross armband, a pouch (empty) for instruments, a folding aluminum cup with lid and case, a brown wool tank top, a gray wool tank top with sewn red cross, two small red cross pennants, an OD canvas skirt, a pair of brown leather ankle boots small size, a pair of beige canvas gaiters, a large white Christian flag with a red cross on a blue background on one corner (The Christian flag is an ecumenical flag designed at the beginning of the 20th century to represent a part of Christianity within associations and congregations.) and a large Red Father flag (white with red cross with red feather) which was part of the Community Chest association which provided assistance to health services during the first war.

Superb set in excellent state of conservation.
