German Heer 6x30 issue bino made by DDX

A pair of issue 6x30 binoculars, clearly marked "Dienstglas" (Service Glass), manufactured by Voigtlaender u. Sohn AG, Braunschweig code DDX. Lightweight model in anodized and painted aluminum, circa 1940-1941. Excellent condition, original black finish, optics in very good condition, very bright, graduated on the right, functional focusing knobs. The soldier's initials are engraved on the base. The "DIENSTGLAS" marking has been slightly scratched. Beautiful overall patina.
