Pilot's CeBe 4000 Flying googles French Air Force WW2

Genuine and scarce pilot's flying goggles made by L.CRETIN -BILLET & Fils model CeBe 4000 WW2. Original box well marked and dated April 4, 1939, functional clasp, with its leather carrying strap. Goggles original strap elastic, non-cracked glass, chamois lining. The natural rubber has lost its elasticity and has become rigid and cannot therefore be curved to fit the shape of a helmet. Superb display piece on the theme of the French wings in the battle of May-June 40.
