AIRAILE Type 11 Pilot Flying Helmet

Superb Airaile 11 type flight helmet from ww2 French Air Force. Dark brown leather protective helmet Airaile 11 model. Helmet with leather flaps and earpieces for wearing headphones. Snap flaps. Leather chin strap and metal buckle. Leather loops for holding glasses. Tightening lace on the back. Inner cap in dark brown leather, original lace. The lower flaps were not pierced after the war like most of the examples found on the market, proof that it was not reused after 1940, it is therefore a pure campaign model of Battle of France 39-40. Superb general condition, very supple leather.
