Description
Nice original WW1 Glengarry. Silk tails cut off (Common practice for front line troops) . Original Highland Light Infantry badge. black wool, Black tourie (pom pom), black leather edge (abandoned at the end of 1915 and replaced by a fabric surround) . Very good condition, and no moth hole . Beautiful white label from the manufacturer/retailer, Robert SIM, dated 1915 and overprinted with a clearly visible 6 over the 5, size 6 1/2. White WD and broadarrow marking (see picture)
