German Wooden case for 900 7.92mm cartridges

A late-war wooden ammunition case for K98 or MP44 cartridges. Crisp white wood construction in excellent near mint condition. Simplified construction from earlier years to include rope handles. Stenciling is present along the front lid « PATRONENKASTEN 900 » and applied via large ink stamped format. The box is near mint condition. One of the more iconic and desirable boxes. An excellent display item that is now very collectible and difficult to find.
