Description
Unused USAAF radar jamming tape from World War II, with its original packaging, parachute missing. Mint condition.
Used on D-Day (June 6, 1944) to create the illusion of a paratrooper drop. The metallic side was designed to mislead the Germans, much like Ruppert dolls, due to the metallic effect on radar in Normandy. The objective was to saturate ennemy radar systems. Rare.
