LIGHT CAVALRY OFFICER'S SABER YEAR XI
Brass mount. Three-branched guard. Long tail cap. Wooden handle covered in calfskin, brass filigree (a small accident at one place see close-up photo). Curved blade maker's mark Peter Knecht, a furnisher in Solingen from 1825 to 1850 on one side and Solingen on the other, with hollow sides engraved on its first third with military and floral trophies with traces of gilding, length 80 cm. Steel scabbard with two rings with the officer's initials engraved.
