A very good original World War II era lady's American Red Cross MOTOR CORPS three piece outdoor winter uniform, with green ribbon shoulder epaulettes designating Motor Corps service. During the War the ARC Motor Corps transported sick and wounded, delivered supplies, drove volunteers and nurses to and from duty stations, and many also trained as auto mechanics. Ths ARC member wore 2 service bars on her sleeve for her 1,5 years of service. A blue grey fabric cap, jacket, and skirt. The cap carries an enameled Red Cross pin. The jacket has a 1942 and on General Service sleeve patch, "ARC" collar devices, black "American Red Cross" buttons, two flap pockets, a front button closure. The A line skirt has a side zipper and button closure.
