Description

M1942 bayonet for the M1 Garand rifle, of World War II origin, manufactured by UFH (Union Fork and Hoe) and dated 1942. Later shortened by American Fork & Hoe (marked AFH on the tang), the blade tip has a Bowie-type bevel. Redesignated M1 in March 1943. This example is in good overall condition and comes in its OD bakelite scabbard.
